About us

Built to be a brand's best kind of distributor.

Nexus Commerce USA LLC is an independent wholesale distribution and export company headquartered in South Florida. We buy authentic branded merchandise at wholesale, take title to it, and move it into United States retail accounts and Latin American export markets.

Who we are

The company was formed in 2026 as a Florida limited liability company and operates from Miami-Dade County. It is a woman-owned, owner-operated business: purchasing decisions, supplier relationships and customer service all run through a small team that answers directly to ownership.

That structure is deliberate. A supplier who calls us reaches the person who signs the purchase order, not a queue. A customer who has a problem reaches someone who can actually resolve it.

Who runs it

Nexus Commerce USA LLC was founded and is run by Lisset Melian Abreu, a Latina entrepreneur based in Miami-Dade County. She owns the company and makes every buying decision in it.

This is not her first company. Since 2020 she has built and run six businesses in health and social care across South Florida — a community mental health practice, a case management and support service, an adult day care center, a skilled home health agency, a non-skilled home care agency, and a music and art therapy practice — and she continues to operate several of them today.

In each of them she held all three roles at once — owner, chief executive and administrator. These are licensed, regulated operations. Her licensure with Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration and her Medicaid provider enrollment are current today; the businesses have also held Medicare provider enrollment and accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care. At its largest, one of them employed 160 people and served 325 patients. Payroll, licensing, staffing and compliance at that scale did not sit with a department. They sat with her, personally.

She came to all of it as a clinician rather than as an administrator: a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's in clinical social work, and direct practice as a social worker.

She also holds a separate professional certification, earned by examination — Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager Supervisor, issued by the Florida Certification Board — which authorizes her to supervise behavioral health case managers. She has done that supervision throughout.

So the work was never only administrative. She built therapy programs that brought older adults out of isolation and back into the life of their community, and she worked directly with children and their families — one at a time, individually — on emotional needs that no standard plan of care covers. The music and art therapy practice grew out of exactly that.

We mention it because it explains the rest of this page. Six years of being accountable for vulnerable people is not a sales background. It is the reason we document everything, answer quickly, and would rather tell a supplier something they do not want to hear early than manage them into a surprise later.

So: the company is new, the operator is not. Nexus Commerce was formed in 2026, and we say so openly. What it has instead of a trade history is a managing member who has spent six years passing other people's audits — a state regulator's, Medicare's, Medicaid's and an accreditor's — in an industry that does not tolerate loose paperwork.

Licensed care runs on inspection and audit. Every service documented, every record able to hold up when a regulator arrives unannounced, every file traceable to its source. It is the same discipline we apply to sourcing: dated invoices from named suppliers, product traceable to an authorized channel, and questions answered the same day rather than the same month.

It also means we have sat on the other side of this table. A care organization of that size is an institutional buyer in its own right — sanitation and cleaning supplies, personal care items, housewares and consumables, ordered week after week and never optional — and it judges a vendor on three things: whether the delivery arrives, whether the paperwork is right, and whether anyone picks up the phone. We know what that customer expects, because we were that customer.

That is the standard we hold this company to, and it is why our supplier paperwork is ready before you ask for it.

What we believe

Whoever handles your product is representing your brand to the customer, whether you chose them or not. We think a distributor earns that position by protecting price, protecting presentation and protecting the customer experience — and by being easy to verify.

So we do the unglamorous things: we keep our invoices, we stay inside MAP, we ask permission before we do anything creative with your product, and we tell suppliers exactly which countries and which channels their goods are going into.

Where we sell

Domestically we supply retail accounts across the United States. Internationally we export from Miami into three Spanish-speaking markets covered by United States trade agreements — the Dominican Republic, Panama and Colombia. Three markets served properly is worth more to a brand than a map full of pins.

Being based in Miami-Dade and operating in both English and Spanish is not incidental to that. It is the reason the export side works.

How we grow

We add product lines slowly and deliberately. Before we place a first order we study demand history, competitive depth, seasonality and margin at real landed cost. If a line cannot be sold profitably without breaking MAP, we do not carry it.

The result is a narrow catalog we know well, reordered consistently, rather than a wide one we cannot support.

Operating principles

The commitments we make to every supplier.

Authorized channels only

We source from brand owners and their authorized distributors. We do not buy from liquidators, closeout channels or unverified resellers, because we cannot guarantee authenticity or condition that way.

MAP compliance

Where a minimum advertised price policy exists, we follow it. We ask for the policy in writing at account opening and we monitor our own listings against it.

Documented inventory

Every unit is tied to a dated invoice from a named supplier. If a brand, a customs authority or a channel partner asks us to prove where a product came from, we can — same day.

No product tampering

We leave your product and your brand-owned content alone. No repackaging, no relabelling, no unauthorized bundles, no altered images or copy.

Authorized territories only

We distribute domestically and export to the Dominican Republic, Panama and Colombia. We do not divert product into any territory a supplier has not authorized in writing.

Responsive service

Customer messages are answered within 24 hours. Damaged or defective units are resolved with the customer first and reconciled with the supplier afterward.

Let's talk about your line.
